The project is made up of the Laguna Niñal, Cocuy, Loma Baja and Loma Alta Indigenous Reserve and is located in the department of Guanía, municipality of Inírida. The Loma Baja and Loma Alta communities are located on the Guaribén channel and the Laguna Niñal community on the Bocón channel. Its name means: Unu: Forest in the Sikuani language and Mai: Caño in the Puinave language.

This project aims to protect 131,854 hectares of forest and benefit more than 400 people. It is currently in the formulation process.
