BIOFIX BIC wins the Climate Action Award for Adaptation and Transition to Climate Change!
BIOFIX BIC was recognized as a winner in the prestigious Adaptation and Transition to Climate Change by Climate Action category. This award is a testament to the hard work we have done in Colombia and Brazil for over 5 years. Thanks to conservation projects based on the REDD+ methodology, we have reached this important milestone in the fight against climate change.
This award is the result of the continuous effort we have dedicated to our work. Over the years, we have implemented more than 11 REDD+ Projects in territories belonging to community councils and indigenous communities. These communities have joined together in our commitment to environmental conservation and play a key role in the global effort to protect the environment and in trading carbon credits to strengthen their local governance.
This recognition leads us to continue our mission of mitigating the effects of climate change through nature-based solutions. We are committed to working tirelessly to find innovative and effective ways to address this global challenge. We thank all the communities and partners who have been by our side on this journey.
