In the far north of the department of Chocó, this important conservation project is being developed that covers 103,022 hectares of tropical forests.
Its execution is due to joint work between the Community Council of the North Pacific Coast of Chocó – Los Delfines and the Community Council of Cupica, in association with BIOFIX.
In its implementation, actions are proposed around strengthening territorial governance, participatory reforestation, community supervision, strengthening the agricultural sector with production processes related to coconut, annatto, ginger and vanilla, sustainability in the use of forests and fishing and economic diversification with ecotourism local.
