The TÁNGARA REDD+ project is the only one developed on private land south of Buenaventura Bay, in Valle del Cauca, Colombia, and aims to protect 8,558 hectares of very humid tropical forest.
Its name is a tribute to one of the main fauna species protected by the activities of this project: the tanager.
